Do's and Dont's on Milad Un Nabi S.A.W.

In the name of Allah the most beneficent and the most merciful…

Jashn e Milad un Nabi S.A.W Mubarak to Alam e Islam…

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam

Every year During the month of Rabi Ul Awwal…. We see almost every Muslim taking about some thing which is very Important…. And it is Jashn e Milad un Nabi S.A.W,
People have many Opinions about this… some says its Bid’ah the Innovation… some say its Makrooh, some says its Shirk and Some says its Love and Passion.

When is was 22 yrs old, a friend of mine asked me why do you consider this day as Eid as only  “Eid ul Adha” and “Eid ul Fitr” are mentioned as EIDs in “The holy Qur’aan” and “Hadees”. I was not much educated about Deen by then but Still I had a reason to justify my Celebration…. In my words I replied….
“ What will be you reaction if you See Your father on your Door carrying many toys and sweets for you… which he has brought from a Unseen land where he  had been for very long time…???”
He replied…. Of course Ill rejoice….
I asked… You will Rejoice for the Sweets and Toys first or for Your Dad how came after a long time????
He said…. Of course for his return… Sweets and Toys are secondary for me.

To which I replies…. Its because of your Love towards your Dad…

and Brother… this is what the Milad un Nabi is All about….

Indeed to the one who have deep love towards the Prophet Mohammed S.A.W will Rejoice on everything delivered on him…. And above All is the Birth of Prophet Mohammed S.A.W. and it’s the Celebration of the Celebrations….

And a celebration is because of Love… the Pure and eternal love towards the Beloved Prophet S.A.W.

And expressing this love is not Innovation or Bid’ah in Islam….
.
But what all happens in the name of Celebration…. Does this really please Our Beloved Prophet S.A.W and Allah Kareem????

How to Celebrate Milad Un Nabi S.A.W.

Lets first Understand what is Love….

If a wife prepares her favorite meal for her Husband is love….
If a wife prepares her Husband’s Favorite Meal for him its… better form of expressing love…
And …. If a wife is preparing her Husband’s Favorite Meal for herself when Husband is no more or Far way… that’s the Supreme Love.

Lets demonstrate this kind of Love on the occasion…..

DO’s…

Lets clean up our selves according to Sunnah…
Lets adopt a new Sunnah in our life….
Lets Pledge to offer All our Salah’s on time….
Lets Recite Darood Shariff to the Max….
Lets Give alms and Charity to the poor and needy….
Lets visit an orphanage, a hospital or a Old age home….
Lets try to make truce b/w two fighting people are two enemies….
Lets cook the meals which S.A.W liked….
Lets visit our relatives and exchange gifts….
Lets have a get together Naat Khwani….

In our love to our parents we try to do everything which they like or asked as to do…. Then why not here????

Don’ts…..
Lets not make Replicas of “The Holy Kaa’ba” or “The Holy Green tomb” which we break in near future….
Lets not waste our money on decorating streets and competing in decoration with neighboring Gallis and Mohallas….
Lets not waste this blessed day roaming here and there with friends with bike stunts and races….

O the Lovers of Beloved Prophet Mohammed S.A.W….. don’t you believe and feel that sitting in Home or Masjid and Reciting Darood Shariff and Naat e Shariff  is far better than Chanting Slogans on Streets, Blocking roads which may cause trouble to Society???

I am a Muslim… and Im very Proud that being Humble is my Identity…
And I believe every one who has Deep love towards S.A.W is the same…

“ Ye woh Din hai jo Allah ne Qayenat pe apni sabse Badi Nemat Ata ki….. Q na is din Nemat ki tarha guzara Jaye”

Lets make a Difference….. This year… and every year we live and… lets pass through this to our generations too…

Jazak Allah Khair
